upgrade to vista?

i am upgrading my computer at the moment

i am changing
motherboard
cpu
ram
graphics card
and poss monitor

would you recommend i upgrade windows as well
currently running win xp sp2

if vista does what you want it too and runs all your programs i would choose vista x64 over xp
 
don't forget a lot of older programmes won't work with vista.
unless they've released an update.

i have done a check with vista upgrade advisor(with my current set up)
and the only thing that came up as a poss problem was nero 7
 
Vista would run fine on your new system. Whether you should upgrade is currently highly debated and so you'll have to make that decision yourself.

I'd run Vista x64 personally though :)
