Upgrade to VR rig...

I am looking for a new Mobo and Case.

I have 3 x 1070ti... so thinking SLI 2 of them and use the 3rd for dedicated physics...I may use an older Nvidia card for that and sell the 3rd.

However I currently have a mini tower with mATX board with only 1 x PCIe slot.
Ideally I don't want any Optical drive bays... last time i used mine was at least 4 year ago!

Motherboard wise I need at least 4xUSB 3.0 for the VR.
I have a i5 2500k which I have no problem keeping, but if needs must I will upgrade.

looks like you don't have a Z board which is a shame, cant overclock the CPU .

personally would sell your core system and a single card. then keep one for new build either based on ryzen or intel 6 core plus.

You have to know that least 70% of your games and VR games allow SLi, if not one is just doing to be a dead weight

why bother , my single 970 can deal with any VR titles ive tried.. its not as if software houses are throwing AAA titles at VR..
