upgrade to win 11?

morning.
i currently have the following
Skylake i6700K on 1151LGA
Asus Maximus VIII Hero
was looking to upgrade to win 11 but my cpu doesn't meet the requirements.
there are a few threads with workarounds and maybe in the past I would attempt it but I'm too old to get my head around it all now unfortunately.
Is there a cpu out there that I can bung in my machine now or will it be cpu/mobo upgrade?

the oldest CPU Windows 11 supported was 9th gen and yours is a 6th gen so no CPU for that generation supports Windows 11.

I would just download the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft and use Rufus to remove the requirements when burning the ISO to a USB stick
