Upgrade to win 8/10?

Currently have win 7, I read a few things that win 8 is not that good, don't know anything about 10, so is it worth upgrading, doesn't win 7 do everything you need?

Isn't an upgrade to Win 10 free at the moment whereas if you upgrade to Win 8 it will cost you? use Win 10 here and not a single issue

Upgrade to 10 and if you don't like it you get 30 days to roll back to your previous OS before it removes the files to do this.

I went from 7 to 10 and changed the layout to windows 7 classic shell on 10. Windows 10 is a lot better mate and I have ran into no issues, I would go for it especially for the dx12 support. But I would get a full version instead of using the upgrade, heard a lot of stories off people about the upgrade causing problems ( not everyone, but some )
