Hi all,

This is a hypothetical situation but if I was to upgrade from my current setup to X99 then how much would it cost me and which parts would I be able to salvage from my current build?

There is no specific budget for this 'spec' but I'd like to see what I can get in terms of value for money.

See Spoiler for my current spec:

4670k to X99 is a no go, personally.

This.

If for any reason you need the power of an i7 then swap the CPU for a 4770K or 4790K.

Besides here's a nicer spec than the one above, cheaper too.
