Been wanting a new case and to upgrade a few things recently so tommorow im ordering:

Another 1gb of kingston ram

LiteOn IHAS124-19 24x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black with Nero Essentials(as i dont have a dvd rw drive at the moment

Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Revision 2 cooler

EDIT: which would be the better option out of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-035-AR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395 & http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-038-AR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395

In 3-4 weeks i am also ordering another 5750 to put in crossfire, the problem is will i have any problems running the 700w psu before i have my second 5750. considering my system will draw nowhere near that, will this cause any problems for the psu/other components?

Thanks,chris

you wont need 700W for that set up, hell you could probably get away with a 500W Corsair unit ;)

i have a similar set up to you, booted fine last week, overclocked amd athlon x4 3.3Ghz, HD5770 and Geforce 9800GT 2 monitors, 3 Hard drives and dvd burner off a little corsair cx400w :p

The only reason im getting the psu is because it comes with the case a bundle (which is cheaper than buying the case and a separate psu)so i thought it would be the right choice to make?
But i really dont know, im so confused in what i should do now haha :D

EDIT : had a closer look and realised i could go with the case and psu serperate for £10 less, but it would be an OCZ psu and ive heard theyre RMA is a complete fail, which is the thing putting me off

in that case, yeah go for it, i dont know much about coolermaster psu's i only buy corsair, but 700W should be more than enough for your little system ;)

about the cooler get the arctic Freezer 7 pro, or get the Gelid, the xtreme isn't worth that money when a Titan fenrir is only a few pounds more :p

Changed the cooler in my basket to the arctic freezer 7 pro :) & the alternative to buying the bundle would be http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-031-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1098 & http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-175-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29

Just note that if your going to buy a extra 5750 in 3 - 4 weeks time ... do it before Jan 1st... the VAT goes up then to 20% :)

On the PSU front it's an either or really. I've had no problems with my own 500w model OCZ or the others that I have fitted to builds in the past few months :)
