Hi all,

My current system:

Cooler Master CM Stacker + Cross Flow Fan
Silver Stone Zues 750W psu
ASUS A8R32 MVP DELUXE CROSSFIRE READY SOCKET 939
AMD 64 Dual Core 4800+
2GIG OCZ Platinum RAM
ATI Radeon - X1900 + X1900XTX (Crossfire)
Dell 2405fpw 24" monitor

W&D 120GIG IDE HDD
Maxtor 80GIG IDE HDD
Saitek keyboard
Logitech G5 Mouse

WinXp Home (sp2)

I guess all im asking at this moment in time is it worth me upgrading my computer? I bought these parts over the course of the year , before Conroe just came out and kinda wish i waited longer.

If it is worth the upgrade id like to try and salvage as much as possible & get a list of what items i would need. & get a price list going of items

If the pc handles everything you want it to then no to upgrading otherwise change your board and cpu to Intel and get new memory.

I'd say by the looks of your spec that you have a very good pc that should last a bit longer without need for change.

Thats a nice machine that will play Dx9 games maxed out .. i wouldn't upgrade unless you intend to build a new system.

having played bioshock (demo) and medal of honor (airborne) i think its a well needed upgrade tbh , DX9 has had it :P

so what do i need to upgrade?

i take it just Vista and DX10 GFX card?

edit.

I've done so :E

i wouldnt bother upgrading for the time being.

know people that have played bioshock on lower specs than that and enjoyed it.

if you insist on upgrading i would only consider the 8800gtx 768mb graphics card wise and something along the lines of the 6750 c2d processor linked up with a p35 mobo like the abit ip35.
