Upgrade worthwhile ?

Hi Guys,
Would going to an I5 setup with dual channel DDR3 be a worthwhile upgrade from my current spec in sig ?

I would hope to clock to at least 4ghz on water, is that likely with the 750 ?

I was thinking of Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Mobo, I5 750 CPU and G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9, but as I haven't been keeping pace with developments maybe not the best combo for the money ?

I would also plan on adding a 5870 or maybe a 5850 to the equation.

The systems main use is gaming.

I would say if you have the cash and want to splash the cash why not.

On the other hand you could stay as you are (maybe a new Graphics card). For a few more months.
