Upgrade worthwhile?

Hi guys,

My current system is as follows:

i5 2500K @ 4GHz
8GB RAM
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
ASUS GTX480

I'm thinking about throwing some cash at a new graphics card ans was wondering if it's worth it?

I was thinking along the lines of the 280X (~£300)

It'll likely be 1-2 Months before I decide to take the plunge anyway, Do you think that will be sufficient for it to die down?

I suppose so, In no major hurry, Was just the graphics card is the oldest piece I've got I think !
