Upgrade

Get my student loan soon and was want to upgrade my computer fair bit dated but does me just now. Thinking bout new rig next year. Got bout 100-150 to spend. amd 300+ barton, nf7s v2, 512mb ram, 9800 pro 300sata hard drive. Was thinkin of upgrading ram any reccomendations? Thanks

this is a gaming machine i presume? i'd probably say another 512MB ram of the same speed and a x800xt or around that.

if your budget aint big enough for both then i'd upgrade the graphics card first.

great thanks mate, was going to upgrade memory 1st. But guessin ill see better results with a new 3d card?

you would be able to do higher resolutions but ideally you need both memory + graphics card to up the res to say 1280x1024 or 1600x1200.

great mate thanks mite just spend a bit more and get 512 ram and a 2nd hand x800xt
