I currently have an Asus mobo, Athlon 2x3800, Gainward 6800GS, 2GB Geil Value RAM and Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS case. It's used mainly for gaming and storing/playing music and was originally built about a year ago. It'll probably be another year till I can build a new rig with C2D/DX10 etc, so would like to know your thoughts on whether I should spend money on the following components to improve my current machine -

Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming case

Pretty much just for looks, and a general change of style.

Nice and quiet.

Nice card at a good price.

My PSU will be able to handle a new card, so what are your general thoughts?

Yeah, tbh I'm considering not changing the case. After all, it's purely for aesthetic reasons and the cost will keep me from a new rig for even longer. :)
