Upgrade?

Just to report some frustrating mishaps in the hopes of getting other people to avoid the situation.

My original computer setup was:

nForce 680i mobo
4 x 1GB corsair Dominator Ram
2 x 8800 ULTRA in SLI
Q6600 Quad Core B3 stepping
Akasa CPu cooler.

My computer was ****, constant crashing. Upped the volts to anything it would crash. couldn't overclock or ANYTHING.

this is the tip:

get 2 x 2GB because i replaced my ram with OCZ same speed but 2 x 2..

now i can overclock a stable system to 3.35ghz with my new ANTEC twelve hundred case, noctua cpu cooler and your mom...

You dont normally have the taskbar at the top of the screen do you? Thats just wrong, good overclock tho

If you look through any of the 650i or 680i threads the problem with 4 sticks and poor overclocking is well known, but I'm extremely glad you've got a stable system at last.
