hey :)

just got some extra cash.. £150.. i was just thinking what could i upgrade on my pc? dont want to spend much... just to make a bit faster. i use my pc mostly for internet, music, movies etc... i do game and i love my games runing on max settings (4aa is ok with me) now i was thinking of buying a cpu (phenom 9850-9950) to upgrade my 5000+ x2 amd but i see they all are gone now and replaced?!? by phenom 2?

my specs
amd 5000+ 3.1GHz (zalman 9500 cooler)
8800gt 700/1000/1750
500gb hdd
asus m2r32 mvp
antec 900 case


my screen resoliuton is 1280x1024 and this 8800gt runs fine most of the games.. ;) what do you lot think i should do? :confused:

hmm... my motherboard should be fine im sure it supports new amd x2 cpus :) and ram i forgot to mention it in the first post but i have 4gigs already :) ill look into cpu will it be much faster than my 5000+ BE ?

erm... not really.. feels a bit slow sometimes.. but i can live with it :) just had the extra cash... i've posted a thread on MM for used phenom x4 :) one of the am2+ :) should last me for long :) if i find one..
 
i did see that cpu... but i believe its just too much for what i need and use my pc.. ill wait for a week-two maybe someone got a used one :) if not ill think about 940 :)
