Hi,

Considering upgrading my PC, which currently consists of the following:

  • CASE: Lian Li Armorsuit PC-P60
  • MOBO: Abit IP35 Pro XE
  • CPU: E8600 3ghz (oc'd to 3.6ghz on air with stock cooler)
  • RAM: 4GB Corsair XMS2-PC6400
  • GPU: Pny 8800GT
  • PSU: Corsair HX 520W
  • HDD: 320gb, 500gb and 1tb all sata2
  • OS: Windows Vista (upgrading to 7)

Mainly want to upgrade the graphics card, mobo, cpu and ram. Budget for these would be max £300-£400. Would also like to add aftermarket cpu and gpu coolers for noise reduction.

Suggestions please, cheers!

Am guessing it is a gaming rig if so theres no real point in upgrading the cpu, mobo & ram

I would say get a 275 & a high end cooler eg true & clock the e8600 to 4ghz

Id stick with mobo and cpu, theyre good enough, maybe add faster RAM to allow better OC, this would do
cooling wise, this is one of best, particuarly if youre trying to keep noise down
gfx Id look at a 275 like this one (lifetime warranty) or a 4890
