upgrade

Can anyone give me some advice on the best next upgrade for my pc
at the mo my spec is

dominator 1066mhz 4gb
asus maximus form se
4870x2 gpu 800 core 1000 mem
24" asus monitor
everything wc
Am looking at one of two upgrades.... q9650 cpu or another gpu to run crossfire x.
which of the two would give me the best performance increase??

What do you do?

I would say the CPU is fine - and the new wave of Graphics Cards is being released with in a month. I think stay put for a while, just my advice of course

Mostly gaming- fear 2, grid, far cry, and some benchtesting.

For gaming id say your 4870x2 is ample enough for now. If you really want to upgrade anything, as Dark Angel stated, wait until next month for the next series of graphics cards.

Agreed, there isnt much point spending any money upgrading due to i5 and the DX11 cards out in september, then you may have something to upgrade to where you will probably see more of a difference as well

lol as everyoone has said, wait. But i think a new cpu will be better. the 4870X2 eats up all modern games
