Upgrade?

what I have:

Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHz
2GB RAM
Windows XP
Geforce FX 5200

It's starting to feel rather slow...

I want to upgrade to something which is noticeably faster. I doubt that's hard though.

I pretty much only use it for heavy internet browsing but would like to be able to play some games.

Budget is probably 600. Also, I have a 24" screen but would rather like another one to compliment it but don't include this in the budget, though recommendations would be great.

I've looked at 95's 700 quid build but I have no idea about making/overclocking.

I'll need an OS but being a student I can get it cheaper I think.

So what kind of £600 i5 build could I expect to make?

Well, it's just I don't really want an average machine.

I will rarely play games. I've only played 2 games in the last 5 years and they are cs 1.6 and cnc zero hour which even this computer could play well. Having said that I'd like the possibility to play games, though not too bothered about highest quality.

I'll mainly use it for internet browsing, dreamweaver and a bit of photoshop. I'll be doing a fair bit of multitasking with all 3 at the same time.

Having said that, I've coped with my PC for a long time so I'm sure any new rig will be a massive improvement.

So I guess an i5 machine with the ability to overclock later is something I should look for? I guess i7 is way above my needs.
