Upgrade

My friend current has a Q6600 @ 3.36, 8800GT, 4gb 800/1066mhz ram (Not sure Which xD), and the rest im not 100% sure about and he wants the cheapest upgrade to allow him to max out Bad company 2.

Currently his buying a 902 Case since his basically sucks and I was gonna try help him het his Q6600 to around 3.6 Then i thought he should get a 5770. Any other advice.

Well how much does he want to spend?
What he has now is fine..cpu etc wise and to max everything out a 5850 will be perfect or even a 5770 will run everything.....or with a big budget a 5870 or 5970

will be great.....does he have an aftermarket cooler?? if not you could grab a Corsair h50 or megahalems and OC very high..(if hes got a good stepping)

Ohh yeah i also forgot one thing, my friend wants to upgrade to a 3D monitor so something that well run that. Im not sure if ATI does 3d stuff yet but I hope so after seeing how badly those new gtx cards blow Lol

No they dont...they do eyefinity which is better than 3d tbh....for 3d you need nvidia card

I have a Core2Quad at 4GHz, my cpu even at stock is fine, but I have a 8800gts, thats my problem.

Damn it, for eyefinity would i need a 3d screen or would any do. Cause my friend is really set on 3d. And what card would you recommend for 3d GTX260?
