Upgrade...?

Hi all,

Some advice please. I am currently running on 5970 x2 crossfire and been thinking of upgrading. However, I have no knowledge of current or upcoming hardware and was seeking some tips on an upgrade path, or wait for new hardware...?

I game at a resolution of 1920x1080. Any help/tips/advice would be great.

However...

I am a total muppet... I dont have 5970's in crossfire. I have a pair of xfx 5870's. Only just realised my typo when i came to check replies.

Any advise would be great.

Upgrade itch to be honest

Though i may hang out for the new intel "3d" chips and just do a full upgrade then...

If i am honest nothing is struggling to play at all. Just that desire for something new and shiny lol

Maybe some water cooling in the meantime lol... It's burning a hole in my pocket

Have 2 SSD already 1 for OS and 1 for game installs

Think i will wait for new processor lines to come out then just do a big upgrade
