Upgrade

Hi everyone, just after a bit of advice, I would like some one to spec me a build please

The main use for the PC will be general use, office, email, web, watching videos etc, however I will also be using the PC to test various OS's (server / dekstop, Linux / Windows) probably using Virtualbox. I would like to spend around £350 if possible on Motherboard + Cpu + Memory + SSD / HDD. Not sure if having a seperate graphics card is going to improve things, maybe for videos?

I have a MSI Radeon HD 6850 1GB card, would it be worth transferring that to the upgraded system?

Personally i would see how the onboard graphics cope with your needs .

Then put the 6850 in your system if you fancy playing a few games as its still a good gpu.

Ok, Thanks. Will the Radeon 6850 not provide any benefits in 3D/2D acceleration in Virtualbox?

I dont no enough about that so i wouldnt want to give you the wrong info. You will have to Dig a bit deaper into the subject or maybe another forum member will be able to help you.
