After that fiasco with the mobo decided to upgrade.
Will be keeping storage devices and graphic cards.
I am looking for the best of the best , reliability also.

5960x
asus e ws
ddr4

Also saw this Asus Z10PE-D8 WS

However 4 way 16x is not avaialble.

If anyone knows of something more hardcore coming out pls let me know.

Upgrading from a 4960x to a 5960x is not very cost effective (but what is at that price range?)

It's a huge amount of money to spend on a small performance boost (new motherboard, RAM and CPU) When you could just get a new board for your 4960x.. Would be much easier/cost effective.

The only x79 mobo i know that supports 4 x 16x is the one I have rma d four times.
Will definetly upgrade not just for power but reliability as well.

You should check out this link before you consider 4 way SLI. Some games don't scale well past 2 graphics cards.

Looks like I am sticking with my current setup.
After the psu exploded I rma'd the asrock board.
They reported back and told me it was dead.They knew something else caused this.
Anyway am getting my 5th rma back free of charge this time.
Am using my backup psu enermax gold 1500watt this time.
Any other advice before i plug it up come monday?
