SB was the one i skipped after selling my primary X58 setup, kinda wish now i had went for one, (2600k/2700k) as they seem to have had a good long lifespan. Been through too many ib and hw chips where for my uses the gains have been pretty small.

they are good chips, cant see me changing for anything else

3770k's need delidding to be of any good, same for haswell

Yup, all three of my hw i7's have been pretty toasty under the right programs. The current one though isnt too bad in games. Anything from 60-74c on the hottest core depending on ambient temp, 4.7ghz on 1.300v. Though not helped by my two heat dumper gpu's. The SB series on the other hand can hit silly high clocks and maintain decent temps without the need to resort to knives and hammers.:D
