Upgrade

Hi all,

I am looking at a GPU but I want to know I have a R9 290 vapour x, what would be the cheapest upgrade to see some noticeable results?

I've been looking at a 1070 NVidia or 470AMD would this add enough improvement for the money?

1070 is in a different league compare to 470 and 480. If you have enough money, go for the 1070

1070 or wait for Vega which should start becoming more concrete in the next 4-8 weeks.

You've also got an AMD 480 refresh happening in the next few weeks too.

I'd wait just yet as current GPU prices will tumble as well.

I'm waiting to buy as well as an upgrade from a 970, but as Vega and the 500 series is due soon from AMD it's time to wait.

Also Nvidia are supposedly going to be refreshing the current line up as well so wait. We're talking 4-8 weeks ish....
