Upgraded Brake Pads

Braided lines always made the brake modulation feel so much nicer on the many motorbikes I fitted them too. I guess it's a personal preference thing but I much preferred the feel. I'd expect the same in a car. Braided lines will expand very little / if at all compared to standard rubber lines. Have to be careful when choosing brake fluid too. Some Dot 4 fluids have higher boiling points than some DOT 5.1s for example. Pays to do a bit of research on that before purchasing.
I've fitted braided lines to a few cars and bikes. Never really noticed any difference TBH. The fresh fluid is playing a large part in the improvement that people feel, in my opinion. I fitted them to my 987R and the brakes felt the same but I did keep the fluid extra fresh (regular track days).

That's because DOT4 and 5.1 have different specifications to meet and it's up to the manufacturer to decide what approval to get. The pertinent points are the dry temperatures and how quickly the fluid absorbs water. Motul 660 is my go to, personally.

And a mate to help bleed or get the sealey easy bleed!
Get one of these: Alba ALB30570. It's the same thing that Sealey and Draper sell but it's a lot cheaper. After checking, it seems to be out of stock at the moment, and listed at £69.99 rather than £40! :(
