.... and so far, absolutely LOVE it!

The whole thing was installed in like, 35mins or so?

I was totally sceptical about the whole thing, thinking is it really going to be a true upgrade? Will it keep everything as is and all programs run as before?

The answer is yes!

And Microsoft Edge? Damn so much quicker than IE...

And Youtube? Absolutely love the fact that when you maximise when using multiscreen, it maximises only one one screen rather than blacking out all multiple monitors...

If I may just ask a few questions.

1. I upgraded from my W7Pro installation. If I want to reinstall W10Pro, how do I go about this? Install W7 and then upgrade again? Is there a way to install straight from a W10Pro ISO?

2. Anything I should be looking out for which maybe problematic with W10Pro?

Thanks!

Something was wrong with your previous installation if that was happening, as I've been running multi-monitor since back in the late Win2k/early XP days and have never had other monitors black out when fullscreening anything on any monitor.

As long as W10 has activated on your current setup, you should be able to just re-install W10 from the ISO, when it asks for your product key (it does so twice) click on the "Skip for now" option, once installed it will activate automatically with no need to input a key.

Nothing I can think of, especially since you're on Pro and can set updates to manual, I did manage to break W10 Home pretty badly but I tinker with things a lot and a re-install for me means a chance to get a quick bite to eat and a cuppa. Unless you're like me, you should be absolutely fine.

Yes, just install from the ISO and use your win 7 key.

Ok thanks. Is the W10 ISO available to download?
So I can just simply do a clean install and use the W7 code?

You! :p

How bizzare. I have queried this a few times on here and infact googled this. It seems I am not the only one with this issue. Albeit I have experienced this since Vista and W7. In order to achieve what I described you would (according to various sources) need to use something like firefox and use an addin of some kind?

Nice one. I guess it picks up the Mobo via internet and auto activates this way? (No need for key as nkata mentioned?

Thanks M1 (and all). Great help! :)

Well I don't know what to tell you regarding the fullscreen YT thing, I've never once had an issue with it blanking out other monitors, nor have I had it with anything else running fullscreen either, I've never heard of it happening at all until you mentioned it here.

And yes, once you've upgraded in place, or used your old product key on a clean install of Windows 10, whenever you re-install on that system it will activate without the need for a product key as long as it can connect to the internet. I've done it myself so I can vouch for it working that way personally.
