Hi all, just purchased a couple things to upgrade my PC, namely :
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - OEM
Asus P5N32-E SLi nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Now this looks all fine and dandy, but upon further investigation i see loads of issues with this motherboard due to memory conflicts (Yes I know, i should have done my research before hand!)
The memory I have is the Geil 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit x2.
Now, on the motherboards box it states "Due to Nvidia nforce680i SLi chipset, ASUS only guarantees DIMM's on memory QVL"
After having looked at the QVL, that memory is not up there, just wondering if anyone else has the same specs, or similar, and if you do, does it all run ok?
