I've upgraded my old canon 450d to a Nikon d750 and thought I'd share my experience.
This is a hobby and I'm still learning.
Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.
It was over my budget but after considering many cameras I settled with the d750 as it had the features I wanted, mostly a full frame sensor and not a huge body. The weight is very good as I did not want something that was too heavy.
Low light performance.
I take pictures of people and needed something that was good indoors. I used to use a flash with my other camera but this I do not need one. I never expected it to be this good in low light.
I bought a 50mm 1.8 Nikon lens which is very sharp. Also, bought a 24-70mm tamron vc lens which I have yet to receive and waiting patiently.
Software interface could be better but it does the job.
Still learning all the features.
The canon was a great camera that served me well. It was my first dslr. I need to now sell all my canon lenses.
