Hello

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ)
New RAM: HyperX HX318C10FRK2/16 FURY Red, 16 GB, 1866 MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM (kit of 2)

Absolutely no issues with old RAM (Viper 3x2GB) and system was rock solid, however after replacing old RAM with the HyperX I keep getting blue screen. The RAM checkouts fine by passing MemTest86 overnight but I still kept getting blue screen. Just in case there was an issue with RAM, I also tried another set which also passed MemTest86 but still I'm getting blue screen.

I've tried running at 1866MHz, then 1600MHz and now at it's lowest bios default setting, which is more stable but still eventually blue screens. Any idea what the issue is here please? Can you have a look at my bios screenshots and advise what I might need to change please to make this stable (ideally at 1600Mhz min). The RAM specs state "voltages as low as 1.35 V" and my settings are already at 1.5V so I shouldn't really need to increased this should I?

P.S. How do you insert images directly here as img tag not working for me.

Had same setup some time ago. Just a few thoughts, x58 uses triple channel ramm, not too sure if your new ramm is benefiting your system or cousing more harm. How old is your psu? I used to get blue screen from time to time, did everything downclocked cpu, was shifting ramm, but still blue screen was popping up from time to time. After changing to new psu had no problems. I had same psu for nearly 10 years, wasn't thinking it could be it in the first place, but i was wrong.
