i have a AMD PHENOM II BLACK EDITION MOTHERBOARD IS A M4A78LT-MLE
4GB MEMORY IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH FOR BF2 BF3 ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREAT

Assuming your gaming at a resolution of 1920x1080 then your current setup should be able to run it at least on medium settings. BFBC2 is very CPU intensive. To boost performance try unlocking the additional CPU cores. Do some reading on overclocking as your processor is a black edition is has an unlocked multiplier so overclocking will be a sinch. Your graphics card isn't too bad, but remember it wont do direct x11.

I have the HD5830 and I think these two cards are pretty much the same side by side, apart from mine is dx11.

I can max Bad Company 2 settings, CPU is Q6600 @ 3.0ghz. But I only game at 1680x1050

I am interested as well what settings I can run bf3 on. Have to wait and see :)

Cheers

BFBC2 recommends quad core aparantly so if your processor has an unlockable extra core that should give you a good boost as BF3 will likely make use of multiple cores as well.
