well when i say upgrades i basically mean a new PC. but im reusing some of my current hardware.

I'm looking at a GTX, Q6600 (either retail or OEM + HS etc. def G0 though), and 4GB of ram not sure on MB or case or PSU.

I'm keeping my HDDs, sound card, disk drives etc.

In terms of OCing, i might do a bit on the CPU but no voltage suff yet as ive never done it before, only just built my first PC the other day (not my PC btw) and was pleased it didn't blow up in my face ;)

The budget well i really don't have one, it's really get the best value for money. within reason

The case has to be 50cm tall or less tbh and fit 2 optical drives 2 HDD and 1 flash cad reader.

Im not sure but i might be able to keep my current power supply. its an antec truepower 2.0 550W with 1 6 pin PCI-E connector (PSU's are my strong point so forgive me for sounding noobish here or anywhere else for that matter) that would save a few ££

thanks in advance

Didn't think you had a sound card nick. And you missed out the "not" in the psus not being your strong point :)

:EDIT:

Heres my spec. I feel like im missing things as there doesn't seem to be a lot there.

The case is the Lian-li 60 Pluss II but ocuk put the wrong picture up because they silly lol. heres a review of the case i was telling you about on msn: http://www.overclockercafe.com/Reviews/cases/Lian_Li_PC60-II_Plus/index.htm

I think you shoukld get a new seagate hard drive as they are a lot faster then waht you currently have along with a new optical drive.

O and you may need some more bezzels for other optical drives.

Personally i would get an 8800GT for half the price of a GTX, and an aftermarket cooler. Then clock it.

Or wait for the new revision 8800GTS which will best the current GTX's.

EDIT: Here ya go. I hope you like my handywork.... :p

If this exceeds what you wanted to spend, then drop the psu. And also, you could downgrade the motherboard, but that one has excellent overclocking options.

Beautifly bodged crofty. Ive been talking to him over msn about them also. I think it be best if you waited for the GTS nick. November the 19 we thinks. Going to be pritty much as powerful as the current GTX and very overclockerble.

The GT is very powerful also, almost as powerful as the current gtx but will have a bit less memory and 256bit instead of 512bit interface.

Btw you appear to be missing some things crofty :p

yeah nice bodge.

are the bezzels just for aesthetics? if so ill pass, the thing will be stuck under my desk and i should be focusing on the screen after all. Im not to bothered on what it looks like. And David the DVDrom and DVDRW i have now are fine same as my HDD's Infact my main one is a Seagate barracuda 320GB 7200rpm 16mb cache. its still over £50 so ill keep it. ;)

more waiting :( ive haven't played a decent working PC game since July o0
now 3 more weeks :( I wont realy be OCing the GPU for a while anyway and it will have to last a few years.

I suppose nov 19th makes sense as long as it is as powerful as the GTX (or close). So long as i dont have to wait for the new GTX after that, otherwise ill never get the dam thing.

what ££ range are the new GTS's expected to be?

The bezels are only for show really.

On ocuk expect a premium as they always do. elsewhere probably not much more for the GTS lol.

Also the seagate you ahve isn't tjhe new ones with the dense platter making them the fastest drives you can get currently. (excluding raptors etc)
