Hi, i have around 250 to spend and im looking for new gfx card around 100 - 150 pound, new sound, and 4gb memory, can you guys recommend me something?

What's the rest of your system like? Motherboard, CPU etc.

i think i have a pretty bad mobo, so if you could recommend a new one that would be good too, i have 2.20 core 2 duo and 2gb ram and on board sound and gfx

This is a bit over your budget when including a new motherboard, I've left out the soundcard as the onboard sound should be decent enough. You could get back under the budget by going for a P31 based motherboard such as the Gigabyte DS3L but I think the onboard sound on this P35 based motherboard might be a bit better.

It does indeed and should be fine with newer quad cores using the 1333mhz FSB such as the Q9XX0 series, specifications here.
