Upgrades

Hey guys,

First post here.
Now that OcUk ship with DHL i thought why not upgrade my pc. I am currently using the following set up : E8400-4 GHZ
EP45-DS3-Gigabyte Motherboard
Corsair XMS2 DHX ddr2
2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11
Nvidia BFG 9800 GTX
Antec 850 watt PSU
Coolermaster Stacker 832 Case
Got around 400 Euros to spend on upgrades any ideas?

I am going to build an i7 PC some time in June but for now i would like to get something new to play with.

I have had this PC for a year now but i upgarded the Cpu from e6850 and the motherboard from a foxconn mars some months ago.

how much ram do you have.?

only real worthwhile upgrade would be the ram and graphics card imo

What graphics card do u recommend maybe an GTX 260?

a core2duo and half decent gpu is going to last well over a year tbh mate.. Theres nothing wrong with his computer i dont see the need to upgrade.. That E8400 4ghz and 9800GTX will easily get him to the next generation i7 and then some, then current i7 will be cheaper so, yes!

to OP: what monitor do you use? maybe that could be the thing to upgrade or sound.. if you getting i7 in june then any other hardware like cpu and gpu would be just wasting money.
