Upgrades

I currently have a E6400, Asus P5B Deluxe, 4Gb OCZ Reaper, 8800Gt 256Mb and a 19" running at 1280x1024. I plan on getting a new 22" or 24" in the very near future will my current spec still handle games MW2 and BC2 on higher resolutions? How much of a performance jump will i see from this-

I think you'd see a vast improvement on performance and you're setting yourself up for some decent 1920x1200 gaming

Haing said, that, I'm not convinced about the i3 or i5 6* series. As budget CPUs are concerned, AMD offer best bang for buck in the sub £100 range. I'd personally go for a i5-750 and get that to 4GHz.

Probably outwith the £350 inc monitor i have to spend depending on how much i would get for my old kit on the bay
