Upgradign RAM

Any help would be really appreciated! Also, how about running ddr3 ram when the computer has ddr2 as standard? Is it worth it and will there be any gains? Many thanks

Whats your full specificaton?

* Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600
* 2.4GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 4MB Cache
* Genuine Windows Vista (R) Home Premium
* 2048MB RAM Memory
* 500GB Hard Drive
* Dual Layer DVD Re-Writer Drive
* 256MB ATI Radeon X1550 Graphics
* Built-In TV Tuner + Remote Control
* 802.11b/g Wireless Network Ready
* 22" Widescreen AOC TFT Monitor

I have just gone to a ATI graphics card (only 256mb) no idea on anymore information on it. The power unit is struggling to run it so thats on the cards for an update. I want to run FSx and run AutoCAD 2010.

is the only way you can get DDR3

although i would consider graphics first then save up for a full overclocked bundle from OCuk
thats what i am doing...:)

as for your motherboard sopporting DDR2 speed upgrade, i dont know what your motherboard is. but i'm not bothering to upgrade my ram, untill i can afford a full upgrade and would reccomend you do the same,
good luck anyway
hope i helped

Cheerse Danny, thats almost half of what a general upgrade would be! I'm going to have to look into this a bit more.
