Hi,
As above, current specs are:

* I7 2600K, clocked to 4Ghz on air cooler.
* GA-Z77X-UP5 TH Motherboard
* 16GB DDR3 ram @ 1600
* Seasonic 850W PSU
* Gigabyte G1 Gaming 4gb GTX 970 gpu
* Triple screen Dell U2412 monitors

In a position to upgrade with an eye to future proofing, wondering about my options guys?
Have a few questions...thanks. :)

The CPU...
Room to overclock if I get a watercooling setup?
Does this chip have enough grunt to see me through the next while?
Heard the 2600K @ 5Ghz is a beast...is this do-able easily with a watercooling rig?

Upgrade to 32GB Ram...
I know no impact in games, work with large cad files so maybe an idea to consider.

Gpu/ Monitor setup...
Replacing the middle monitor with a Benq BL3200PT (running 2560x1440) and using the old one in portrait mode for documents.
So 4 panels in total.
Is the GTX970 fine with this? It does 4 monitors ok, its more the grunt Im thinking about.
Still good to go for gaming (high framerate etc) at 1440K on the big Benq monitor?
Play Project Cars, Alien Isolation and want to be able to play whats round the corner at good fps.

Put the GTX970 on the MM and upgrade to a 980Ti?
Good match with the 2600k @ 5Ghz?
Sorted for a while?

Anything else I should think about?

Thanks muchley. :)

Anyone?

Really asking (I guess) about will my 2600K be "enough" when clocked to 5Ghz (and how easy is it to get there..)

and

Should I upgrade to Gtx 980Ti over a Gtx970, given my 4 monitor setup and my wish to game at Ultra settings at 1440P, and what influence does the overclocked 2600K have on this?

Thanks. :)

just curious have you checked how much ram your actually using when using large cad files, I only do 2D cad in AutoCAD and have never reached 8.
