Upgrading 4x 512mb RAM to 2x 1gb.

I currently have a P4 Prescott processor running on an Asus P5GDC deluxe Motherboard. And in there I have 4 sticks of Crucial memory (CT6464Z40B) Interleaved. As sold at Ocuk.

Now my question is, would it be worth it to upgrade this ram to 2X 1GB sticks to utilise DDR2 (Corsair)?. I mainly play BF2 and Oblivion at high settings, would I improve my system by upgrading?

Right now I'd say no. Memory prices will fall by the time you upgrade properly and Intel systems don't suffer from using 4 sticks.

I think i'll put the money towards a completely new system when Vista is released, and the new DX10 cards.
