Upgrading 5870

Thinking of upgrading my 5870:

Been looking at this

But i want to test out Nvidia but looking at 670 seems rather expensive I've looked at benchmarks and there alsmot the same for £70 difference

Any suggestions?

A 670 is closer to a 7970 than a 7950. 7950 is slighty faster than the last generation 680. (taking stock for stock)

The 7950 is a very nice card though and it is cheaper. Its price point is about right for where it performs. Gives you the option of a nice crossfire upgrade in the future as well.

I moved from a 5870 to a 7950 and there is a big difference.

Also have the addition of good overclocking potential (if you want to OC)

really nice price for this card,70£ cheaper well worth it over gtx670.vtx3d easy to OC,some people report problem with coil whine,but you can request RMA
