Upgrading 7970

Hey guys,

I am thinking of upgrading my 7970 Direct CU II as its 1080p performance is feeling a little sluggish recently. I have an AMD 8320 processor, Asrock mobo and 8 GB RAM with SSD etc. All of this is hooked up to my 47 inch 1080p 3d tv.

Would you recommend a R290X or Geforce 780 for a solid 60 fps at 1080p for my set up.

Either a AMD 290 or Nvidia 780 not a 290X not really worth the extra money!

Both he 290 and 780 perform near enough equally with the 290 slightly better but neglible in game

This, But i would add Mantle into the equation, you will get better much performance with Mantle enabled games on the 290 with your CPU.
