Hello all,

This is a strange one but I have been wanting to upgrade my 2015 gaming rig for many years now. My work have given me a gift card for £700. Would anyone be kind enough if I list my current spec below to give me advice on what to purchase.

CORSAIR 550W VS SERIES™ VS-550 POWER SUPPLY
Graphics Card - ZOTAC GTX 970 4GB 256BIT DDR5
240GB KINGSTON V300 SSD, SATA 6 Gb (450MB/R, 450MB/W)
2TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 64MB CACHE
Motherboard - ASUS® H110M-D D3: Micro-ATX, LG1151, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-6400 (2.7GHz) 6MB Cache
INTEL STANDARD CPU COOLER
16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X FURY DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (2 x 8GB)

I look forward to any suggestions.

Thank you everyone...

Hi, I don't think forum rules allow you to mention competitors like you have.

Advise you to remove the name.

This would be good starting point , reuse your graphics card , could get new case and psu,etc

CODE My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £475.46 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Unfortunately, with the market right now, you can either buy a PC without graphics, or buy a PSU + graphics. Pre-builds have better availability, but you'd struggle to get a decent CPU/GPU upgrade for £700. A 10400 or 3600 with a 2060 for approx £800 - £900 is best I've seen.

Do you fancy a new case ?

I picked a matx motherboard as that the type you already have so we know it will fit your old case.

I actually really like those suggestions. Thanks! Although I don't need a new case I am replacing 90% of the components so might as well!
