Upgrading a 2080 super ?

Have a ryzen 9 3900x CPU and 2080 super GPU, wondering in the current market would it be worth upgrading to a 3080 card to give me a bit of a boost ? or best to wait a while and see if 4000 series cards may bright the 3 series down a bit in price ? thanks for any help !!!
 
If you can get a good return for your 2080 Super and you're struggling for playability @ 4K, then maybe, but the 3080 isn't much of a jump for £750+ (AIB).
 
asus strix 2080 super i had, going to 3080, around 50% jump in fps at 4K, few as much as 60% depending on game, and the odd few 40%.

Depending per game and resolution, keep in mind that your CPU could slow you down a bit.
