Upgrading a headless machine on Win7

I have a media centre computer sitting in a cupboard without a screen or keyboard, I noticed that when you do an upgrade to Windows 7 build 7600 on a desktop machine, it prompts you for a key, my question is, is the RDP service running by this point or am I going to have to bite the bullet and attach a monitor and keyboard?

just plonk it next to your desktop and plug it in to do the upgrade.

Hard to argue with that!

You could always invest in an IP KVM, for the few times a year you might actually want to interact directly with the machine...
