Upgrading a laptop P4 to a Q6600?

I've just added this from the laptop forum to get more views.

With the low price of the Q6600 at the moment, I've been thinking of upgrading my laptops processor from its 3.6 P4 to one of these. I assume that the Q6600 is cooler and uses less power than my P4, and its the same socket, but how do I find out if my D900 Clevo takes a Q6600 and supports the Quad core?

Replacing a laptop processor is tricky at the best of times, even when technically possible. The chances of a P4 laptop being able to support a Q6600 are virtually squat - forget about it.

just found that on Intels website, looks like the motherboard is designed solely for the P4, am I right?

915 definitely won't take a Q6600.
