Upgrading a Sony a77

So I'm looking to upgrade my a77, possibly to a A7s or the newly announced Canon XC10. I'm looking for a good all-round stills and 4K camera.

I like the A7s but will need to buy a Shogun for it. The XC10 looks really nice but has a crappy fixed lens.

I might be tempted to get either a Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K with Shigun or a Blackmagic Production Camera 4K EF (which needs a side handle)

Do the Black Magic cameras even shoot stills? I thought they were purely for video?

I guess the GH4 could be thrown into the mix for consideration.

Ah yeah that's ture. I am worried about rolling shutter on the A7S and GH4. Also the GH4 seems to be behind the A7S in various comparisions.
