Hi all,

I am in the midst of upgrading my PC and would like your feedback on how the new components will run games on my system. Will I see any bottlenecks? If I see any issues I could always drop down to 1920 by 1200?
I play FPS online and some driving games, BF3, Diablo 3, Witcher 2, GTA4, COD, MOH and so on and I like to have all the settings set to max.

Here are my system specs...

I7 920 @ 3.36 (Socket LGA1366)
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Dual Fan
2 x 1tb HD
Asus P6T Deluxe (PCI-E 2.0)
3 x 2gb Corsair 1600MHz Triple Channel
Creative Sound Blaster Fatal1ty XFi
1000w Corsair PSU
Lian Li PC-P80N Full Tower Case

At present I have a GTX295 and Samsung 24" 1920 x 1200

On order I have a Hazro HZ27WC 2560x1440 8-Bit 27" LED Widescreen Professional and an EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW w/Backplate 4096MB.

Thanks in advance.

Thats a great upgrade, you wont be bottlenecked, your CPU is fast and a nice overclock on it.

The GTX680 is the fastest single GPU card on the market, it can handle surround (three monitors, so a very large resolution) by itself, the native resolution of that Hasro screen wont be an issue:)

Many thanks Stulid, that good news... infact thats great news. Lets hope all the kit sent works correctly lol. Reading some horror stories about the Hazro screens. I have always had good luck with new kit delivered so fingers crossed.

How'd you get on with the GTX 680 and i7 920? I am also considering getting a 2560x1440 screen and GTX680 - and I actually play a very similar set of games!
