Definatley upgrade to 240hz Monitor
Maybye upgrade ram and motherboard
Budget 1200 Pounds.

Just need to know if everythings compatible and if anything will be bottle necked maybye a monitor ugpgrade suggestion if you can :)

Your motherboard and RAM are still fine, just need to update your b450 board to support the Ryzen 5000 series which I don't think is out yet. If you do want to upgrade though this could be a good option.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,245.05 (includes shipping: £11.10)

You can definitely recoup some funds if you sold your b450 Tomahawk, 3600 and ram as a bundle.

If you kept you RAM and motherboard then that would have course give you some money back to get a monitor.

It'd probably make a bigger difference in gaming performance to keep your current CPU and get a 3080.

Definitely wouldn't bother with a mobo upgrade as 5000 is supposed to be the last AM4 socket CPUs, so you'd be basically guaranteed to have to replace it next time you upgraded.

I would agree with this as I have a 3080 running on a B450 tomahawk with a 3600 and it runs great.

If you want to get a 5600X later on then the tomahawk will get support between now and january.
Okay thanks lads. One more thing what are we saying to this monitor 280hz sounds a bit weird but it looks pretty legit.
For a monitor I would go with this unless you only play competitive FPS shooters.
