Upgrading an old Q8300.

Hey all.

My brother is upgrading his old Q8300 this xmas and was hoping to get a little help from the community. His budget lies around ~£300 although all he needs is mobo, cpu and ram. The kicker being I need this to be as futureproof as the budget allows.
