Hi Guys

I have an old rig with 2 x 2GB of Corsair Platinum Series Ram CM3X2G1333C9

DDR3
9-9-9-24 timings
13333MHz
XMS3

I play Civ 6 a bit at the moment and wondered if a bit more RAM might help matters. And I was looking at the following and at first glance to my naïve eye it looked like it would be compatible.

Basically I was thinking of going from 2GB -2GB-empty-empty to 2GB -2GB-4GB-4GB in the four slots on my mobo.

Some advice would be much appreciated.

System Specs:
Phenom II X3 720 at 3.3GHz.
Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P motherboard.
4 Gig of RAM
GTX 750Ti graphics card
Samsung 840 SSD
Asus Xonar DGX audio card.

It's not generally a good idea to mix RAM types, however aslong as it is the same timings it should work however you may still get a Bluescreen if the sticks don't like each other. I'd ideally just use 8gb of new RAM as that should be enough.
