Anyone done it recently ?

I currently have two OLED's in the house. 55" C6 and a 65" C8. The C6" is still fantastic and I only upgraded it for a larger size and the so called extra large pixels to avoid burn in. Guess what TV showing the most wear and tear? lol

The burn in is not really noticeable until this time of year. I believe this is when I first spotted the issue last year due to all the red advertisements use around Christmas. It really put me off buying an OLED but I just can't swap for another technology. Dark room movies and gaming is my main usage.

I don't believe the step up from the C8 to a C3 is a big enough improvement for the cost. Gaming yes, movies no. DV is a must so that rules out Samsung. Sorry you also don't deserve money for how stubborn you are being over this issue.

It kinda leaves me with two choices. The Sony A95L or the G3. Does the Sony have a burn in warranty? I kinda fancy having that feeling knowing I have the best out of the box picture quality and build. The G3 has the price and warranty going for it but it's kinda annoyed me that they held back the C3 this year. Are they going down the iPhone route? G gets all the latest and best upgrade's then the C follows a year later? Before it was just a style choice.

I had both in my basket at one point yesterday but had to talk myself down :D

If you Play games get the G3

I don't trust Sony's, based on Rtings data, they have high failure rates and are much more susceptible to burn in

What do you mean about Samsung?

So you have two OLEDs, and want another, that has burn in warranty, because one of your current OLEDs has burn in? Did you not consider it's your usage and that another will just be the same?

hahahahahah oowowow jajaja
1. C8
2. Did you read the post and what is Samsung TV's lacking? even though every manufacture is suppling it on high end TV's? DV? Dolby vision?
3. Did I not explain "Dark room movies" is why?

and besides I've already posted pictures of my burn in on here before and the general conclusion was that I was watching too much gay porn and have a penis shape shadow in the middle of the screen and icons burnt in from youtube and newer TV's that's it mostly a non issue. /shrug
