I was hoping to get some advice here. I'm looking to replace most of computer with the exception of the graphics card and PSU and possibly the case. Iv'e been looking at the following parts and was wondering if they are good for their price or if i could do better for the price i'm paying. Was also wondering if it would all be compatible and my PSU would handle it all.
GPU: MSI GTX 970
OS:Windows 7
PSU: Corsair CX750
Case: Cooler master elite 430
The components i was thinking of getting would be:
Processor:
Intel Core i5 4690K 3.50Ghz or Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (is the price difference worth it for 'intense' gaming, such as open world games and un-optimized games such as rust.
Motherboard: MSI B85-G43 Gaming Intel LGA1150 B85 Gaming ATX Motherboard (4x DDR3, 4x USB 3, 8x USB 2, GBE, LAN, VGA, HDMI, DVI)
SSD:Samsung 2.5 inch 250 GB 850 EVO Solid State Drive (Was looking at putting my OS and a few games on there, would this be enough)
And possibly my RAM to : Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit Black
Was wondering where my files and things are 'stored' and by replacing any of these components would it erase what i have on my computer?
I would like your opinions on these parts iv'e selected both performance and price wise and if they will serve me for many years more or if there's things that may be better i'm open to suggestions. Also i would want to know would it fit in my case? Sorry if i seem really lazy but i'm very poor with this kind of thing.
