Girlfriend has a HP stream, with a 20gb EmmC storage..which is lame and cant' even upgrade to windows 10. I bought a SSD occidentally not realising it.

Is it possible buy them? I cant seem to find any for laptops, 50gb would be more than enough.
Any links appreciated thanks

eMMC usually is soldered to the mainboard so unless there is an extra hdd slot or you feel like some serious DIY not many options.

Normally you can use a external USB drive whilst trying to upgrade, my laptop had the same issue.

Its weird, the drive says it has 6gb left, i restart it and randomly now has 500mb left. and theres nothing that takes up that much space on it..this is weird

SD Slot won't be a good option for booting an OS from though might be useful for temporary storage for getting Windows 10 installed.

Check stuff like swap file size, hibernation file, previous/update OS files in temporary storage (via disc clean up), etc. for freeing up space.

SHe doesnt mind about windows 10, its just that, it only has windows 8 installed, and has no memory free, it had 6gb and just randomly took it all out of nowhere. Only want to install Office >.<
