Upgrading from 21:9 29" AOC Q2963PM @ 60hz

Hi all,

I love this monitor, I love the form factor, the resolution is fine, but I'm running a 1080ti and I've always considered changing it because it only OC's to 75hz and everyone keeps saying that I'd notice an improvement from higher refresh or from g-sync.

What would be a good upgrade for me? I am an avid FPS gamer.

I don't necessarily want to go bigger, and I don't actually have much more space to, this one is 71.32cm wide already!

So any suggestions? are there any decent 21:9 gaming monitors? and will a higher refresh or g-sync really be an upgrade if I stayed the same size and resolution?

/edit resolution is 2560x1080 at the moment.

Not a bad choice at all. I struggle for FPS as I am so used to widescreen gaming and I find it slightly too big. I think I need to sit back a bit more

i take it you mean the A34P? Have you got it yet? If so what’s it like ,

At the mo it’s the A34P or the 34GK950F

obviously there is over £200 difference between the 2, so leaning towards the predator

If I'm completely honest, I'm blown away by how smooth it is! Coming from 60hz, it's like I've only just got the 1080ti and I'm finally seeing what it's capable of. It's mad tbh.

Super impressed.

Wish I'd gone above 60hz as soon as I got this GPU now.
